Jan Stinchcomb was born in San Francisco. She has a doctorate in Comparative Literature and has taught at the University of Oregon, Austin Community College and the University of Texas Extension Program. Currently living in Santa Monica, she is a story editor for Paper Darts. A Pushcart nominee, she is featured in Best Microfiction 2020 and The Best Small Fictions 2018.
